Lemongrass Essential Oil

Most citrus oils are uplifting for mood, but lemongrass essential oil has a particularly strong effect, in my experience. For me, inhaling just a drop or two (diluted on sensitive skin), will have me giggling!

I mean that literally!

It's bazaar, but I'm not going to argue with results.

Lemongrass essential oil has been used for oily skin to slow the sebaceous glands. Put one drop in 50 ml of vinegar and it can be used as a rinse for hair and skin (including the face for most people).

This is another oil that is used in cooking, but it's powerful so use sparingly.

Do not add this one to the bath because it is a skin irritant.

However, you can use it to CLEAN THE BATH, because it is also antiseptic and antibacterial. It is added to a lot of natural household cleaners.

This is one that is more stimulating than relaxing, so keep that in mind if you use it for massage. And DILUTE WELL! I can't emphasize that enough.
